The Curbing Process

On the day of installation, our team will arrive with a truck and trailer to complete the project. This equipment will remain on the road and not interfere with your property. Parking will be needed for the truck and trailer in front of the home and access to a hose will be required within 100 feet.

We will begin by outlining where the edging will be laid and then dig trenches to lay down the concrete curb. We do not remove the old edging or move sprinklers. Cables, wiring, sprinklers, dog fences, etc. within 2" of the surface will need to be marked to prevent interference.

Upon completing the trenches, dirt and sod will be remaining with options of removal for an additional charge or can be managed by the property owner. After the curb cures, there will be a gap in front of the curb that will need to be sodded or seeded.

The concrete is then mixed on site with our self-contained mixer with the colors you've selected. The concrete is then wheel barrelled to the curb machine where it will be fed into the machine to create a clean and elegant landscape border.

The concrete is then straightened and adjusted to achieve the perfect flow. Troweling is completed twice to take away any imperfections in the concrete. Once we achieve the desired flow of the edging, we cut joints and stamp the concrete to give it the finished look. A sealer is then applied where it will take 2-3 days to cure completely in which landscaping should not be attempted until after. The project is usually finished within the day, however the concrete may still be soft after we leave so keep pets and children away from it for the rest of the day,
